Aquanara is born from the inspiration of Dayanara Torres, a global symbol of beauty and wellness. Born in Puerto Rico, she rose to international fame when she was crowned Miss Universe 1993 at just 18 years old, becoming a Latina icon and global ambassador. Her outstanding artistic career covers television and film both in the United States and the Philippines, where she has starred in top-rated shows and more than a dozen feature films.
Beyond the screens, Dayanara has dedicated more than two decades to philanthropy, actively supporting high-impact social foundations such as UNICEF, San Jorge Children's Hospital, and Covenant House, testifying to her vocation of service and love.
In 2019, she faced a stage 3 melanoma diagnosis with immense courage. Far from hiding it, she became an active national spokesperson for skin cancer awareness, inspiring the famous "Dayanara Effect," which prompted thousands of people in the Hispanic community to get preventive skin checks.
